Stryder's Learning Center Beta

Welcome to Stryder's Learning Center Beta

Do you have a pile of supposedly educational childrens videos that are really just junk cartoons that your kids end up vegging out in front of?

Do you have a computer for your kids but they just don't seem to be using it to learn anything?

Stryder's Learning Center takes those junky educational videos and ties them together with educational games that your kids will play because they want to watch the videos.

Ignore the part about paying via paypal for a 90 day license, there isn't anything setup for that right now.  Licenses are all 10 days long right now and will work with any email address.

  • Troubleshooting

    Symptom Solution
No sound when video plays You are likely playing a video that was encoded with the AC3 Filter, install the AC3 filter above and see if that fixes things.  Also remember that the AC3 filter sometimes needs to have some volume settings adjusted, the default is pretty quiet.
Error when playing video Likely you are missing a codec, such as DivX to play the video.  If you have DivX installed and it still isn't working, try converting the video to a different format using a 3rd party application such as Media Converter SA Edition. DivX is a good format to convert to, assuming you have installed Divx from the link above.
Crashes over and over on Vista 64 Oct 12, 2008 - Get the latest version of Stryder's Learning Center, it is now compatible with Vista 64. In theory it will run on xp 64 as well but I haven't tried it yet.
DVD does not play properly Feb 17, 2010 - This issue was fixed in build 111
Shuts down after showing splash video of Stryder running around with box on his head Likely your video card isn't powerful enough to run Stryder's learning center.  You can hit the Feedback button and check the DirectX Diagnostics option and send some feedback (be sure and include your email address).  I will look at the diagnostics information and send you an email back.
